ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCE DEGREE IN UNIVERSITY STUDIES
PRE-EDUCATION [Emphasis 03007]

Faculty Advisors: John Phelan john.phelan@wosc.edu; Mike Tucker mike.tucker@wosc.edu
[Dean: Lisa Greenlee lisa.greenlee@wosc.edu]

This suggested curriculum includes Western's degree requirements and those generally completed during the first two years of a four-year education program. Students completing the Associates in Science degree may transfer to any senior level state institution and expect to find their lower division, general education requirements satisfied.

Students should consult the four-year institution to which they are planning to transfer, and while working with their advisor, carefully select courses that meet requirements for that school. Students should study certification policies of the Oklahoma State Department of Education since they can pursue endorsement areas at Western. Foreign language certification required for admission to professional education may be obtained at Western.
