USING CampusConnect
FEATURES
Welcome to CampusConnect, WOSC’s online student information
services. You will have access to your grades, unofficial transcripts,
billing information, financial aid information, demographic
information, enrollment and course availability information. Your
Student Id is your Social Security Number as recorded in the
Registrar’s Office. Your PIN is your birth date (enter in MMDDYYYY
format) as recorded in the Registrar’s Office. You must see your
Advisor to get activated for enrollment.
It is strongly recommended the first time you log onto CampusConnect
that you change your PIN (Personal Identification Number) by selecting
Change PIN under Student Information. You may use any combination of
letters and numbers for your PIN. Students who have forgotten their
PIN should check with the Registrar’s Office. You are responsible for
protecting your access to CampusConnect. You should take care not to
reveal information that would help someone access your SSN and PIN.
Please note:
Once you have entered CampusConnect, your session will terminate after
being idle for 5 minutes to ensure privacy and security.
To use CampusConnect you will need to have a browser that supports
JavaScript. Internet Explorer 5.0 (or higher) or Netscape Navigator
4.0 (or higher), with internet security setting of Medium High (or
lower) on Microsoft Windows or Macintosh OS only.
ADD & DROP COURSES
After selecting ADD/DROP COURSES under Registration, choose the
semester you wish to use and the department of the course you want to
enroll in. Select the LIST COURSES button, your current schedule, if
you are already registered should be displayed.
From the list of courses in that department simple click ADD and the
course will be added to your schedule. In the same manner you are
allowed to drop a course from the list in your schedule. When you need
to add another class select a different termcode or department button
at the bottom of the screen and choose another department for the
course you want to enroll in.
NOTE: Please be very diligent is choosing the correct class. It is the
student’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy and completeness of
their registration and that all courses meet program and/or transfer
requirements. It is strongly recommended that you consult your Advisor
before making changes to your registration. You are responsible for
new charges incurred as a result of adding courses to your schedule.
COURSE AVAILABILITY
After selecting COURSE AVAILABILITY under Registration, select the
semester and department you wish to view. Click on the List Courses
button. After viewing the courses you may then choose a NEW DEPARTMENT
by clicking on list other courses link at the bottom of the screen or
hit the back button.
CLASS SCHEDULE
Select CLASS SCHEDULE under Registration and choose the semester you
wish to view. Click on the submit button. If you have registered for
courses and they do not show on your schedule, contact the Registrar’s
Office.
VIEW GRADES
Select VIEW GRADES under Registration, choose the semester you wish to
view and click on Submit. Your grades will be active for the most
recent semester only. Previous grades may be viewed through the
UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT screen.
UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
Select UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT under Registration. Official transcripts
may be obtained by contacting the Registrar’s Office in person, in
writing or by fax.
CHANGE PIN
Select CHANCE PIN under Student Information to change your PIN number.
To insure confidentiality, change your PIN number the first time you
log on the system. Do not use a zero (0) as the first number on your
PIN
DEMOGRAPHIC DATA
Select DEMOGRAPHIC DATA under Student Information to view your student
directory information currently on file. If any of this information in
incorrect or has changed, you need contact the Registrar’s Office in
person, by phone or by fax.
REVIEW/PAY ACCOUNT
Select REVIEW/PAY ACCOUNT under Student Information for viewing or
printing your estimated billing statement. Western Oklahoma State
College has teamed with FACTS Management Co. to provide our students
more payment options. FACTS offers an online enrollment plan. FACTS
also offers the ability to pay in full directly from your checking
or savings account, or by charging directly to your Visa, Mastercard,
Discover or American Express.

REVIEW FINANCIAL AID
Select REVIEW FINANCIAL AID under Student Information for viewing or
printing your financial aid award information. Questions regarding
this information should be directed to the Financial Aid Office.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
- Q: How do I get a PIN number assigned? I forgot my PIN, How do I get
a new one?
A: In order to get a PIN number assigned or changed you first need to
be a registered student at Western Oklahoma State College, secondly
you need to contact the Registrar's Office in person with photo id and
a PIN will be assigned or changed as necessary.
- Q: What should I do if I receive the message "A runtime error has
occurred do you wish to debug?"
A: When you access CampusConnect answer "NO" to the question and
CampusConnect should work just fine. Sometimes a web browser will
receive a script error and try to debug it because script debugging is
turned on in the web browser options. If that does not work close
CampusConnect and try to access the system again.
- Q: Why doesn't my transcript display in CampusConnect?
A: If this is your first semester at Western Oklahoma State College
and the semester is not over you will not have any transcript
information available until the grades are posted at the end of the
semester.
- Q: Why won't CampusConnect let me drop my last class?
A: To completely withdraw from Western Oklahoma State College you must
go to the Registrar’s Office and fill out a Complete Withdrawal Form.
