ADMISSIONS FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS

The student who transfers from another college or university with 12 or more general education hours is exempt from the admission clinic. However, all students, including transfer students, must demonstrate proficiency in English, math, science, and reading prior to enrollment in college level courses in those disciplines. Proficiency may be demonstrated by ACT scores, local testing, or prior completion of college level courses in those disciplines.

Bring the following items for enrollment:

  1. High School transcript/GED with graduation date 
  2. ACT/SAT if less than 21 years of age; does not apply for active duty military 
  3. Official transcripts from all colleges attended 
  4. If these documents are not submitted, you will be asked to complete request forms to have them mailed to WOSC

Enrollment Steps

  1. Go to the Admission Office 
  2. Fill out application for admissions 
  3. Get assigned major and advisor 
  4. Go to advisor's office for PIN and enrollment activation
  5. Go to online enrollment to enroll
  6. Go to Financial Aid Office if you are receiving aid
  7. Go to Business Office to pay your tuition and fees and get a copy of your class schedule

NOTE: The following Documents Must be submitted: 

It is very important that you have the following documents on file by the end of the first semester you attend.

  1. High School transcript/GED 
  2. ACT/SAT are not required for anyone 21 or older or active duty military 
  3. College transcript from other colleges attended 

Consequences of NOT Submitting Documents

  1. You cannot obtain a copy of your transcript (grades) 
  2. You may be prohibited from enrolling 
  3. Your financial aid will be withheld
