AUDITING, ATTENDANCE POLICY

Auditing
An individual is allowed to audit a class if he or she pays the regular tuition costs of the course. Students may change from audit to credit through the last day of late enrollment and may change from credit to audit through the last day to withdraw with an automatic “W”.

Attendance policy
Students are expected to attend all classes in which they are enrolled. Each instructor will notify students of his/her attendance policies at the beginning of each semester. Regular attendance is expected in order to earn credit for a course.

Students may be withdrawn from a course for excessive absences by the instructor; however, it is ultimately the students responsibility to officially withdraw when they stop attending a class.

Although scholarly effort and performance are more important, class attendance and participation is a key factor in classroom success. Therefore, instructors may consider attendance as part of the course grade.
