All credits at Western Oklahoma State College are given in terms of semester hours.
A semester hour consists of one clock hour (50 minutes) of lecture per week or two
lab clock hours (100 minutes) per week for sixteen weeks. Courses taken in a
shortened format must meet clock hour requirements. Credits earned in nursing,
aviation, the sciences and other areas have varying requirements for time required to
earn a credit hour. See your faculty advisor for a full explanation of credits.
