CURRICULAR DEFICIENCIES POLICY

Students lacking curricular requirements are admissible into associate of arts,
associate of science, associate of applied science programs, and certificate
programs.

Students in associate of arts and associate of science programs must remediate
curricular deficiencies at the earliest possible time but within the first 24
hours attempted or have all subsequent enrollments restricted to deficiency
removal courses until all deficiencies are removed.

Students entering the associate in applied science or certificate programs must
remove curricular requirements deficiencies before taking courses in the same
field as part of the associate in applied science degree or certificate
program.

Students admitted under this provision may not transfer into associate of arts
or associate of science programs without first completing the high school
curricular deficiencies. Students must remove curricular deficiencies in a
discipline area before taking collegiate level work in that discipline.

additional three-hour collegiate history course to make up the high school
deficiency.

Students with a deficiency in a non-basic skills course (excludes English,
mathematics, and science) who present an ACT reading subscore at or above the
