ENROLLMENT

Enrollment is divided into three areas: early, regular, and late. Several months before the semester begins, a class schedule is printed, which notates the dates and times registration will occur.

Early enrollment
The hours and dates of the early enrollment period are clearly indicated in the class schedule. Early enrollment gives students an opportunity to get into the class (es) and time(s) of their choice. However, students must pay all tuition and fees by the specified time or enrollment will be canceled. The class schedule will indicate this cut-off date.

Regular enrollment
Regular enrollment occurs two or three days prior to the beginning of classes. Students enrolling during the regular registration period may experience class closings due to select classes being filled by the early enrollees.

Late enrollment
Late enrollment begins the first day of classes and is permitted for a period of two weeks during the fall and spring semesters and for one week after classes begin during the summer semester. Enrollment is by instructor permission only. The student is responsible for making up all missed assignments and fulfilling all requirements of the course.

Change in enrollment
A student desiring to change his or her schedule must obtain an add/drop form from the office of admissions and records. The student is responsible for obtaining the instructor’s initials to acknowledge a drop and for submitting the add/drop form to the business office to finalize the add/drop process.
