Biography:
Chrystal Overton currently serves as the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) at Western Oklahoma State College. As the VPAA, she oversees all academic programs, the Offices of Academic Support and Institutional Effectiveness, the IT Department and the Learning Resource Center. She began working at Western as a nursing faculty member in 2002. During her tenure at Western, she has also served as the Clinical Coordinator for the Nursing Program, the Director of the Nursing Program and the Dean of Technical Education, and the Academic Dean.

Chrystal graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1988 and from the University of Oklahoma with a Master of Science with an emphasis in Nursing Education in 2005.

Chrystal is a native of western Oklahoma growing up in Weatherford. She currently resides in Cordell with her husband.
