The Aviation Mechanic program is a cooperative program with the Southwest Technology Center and the aviation community. It is designed for the student who plans to enter the job force immediately. After successful completion of the required curriculum, you will receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree, which prepares you for maintenance job opportunities in the aviation industry.
All mechanic courses are taught at Southwest Technology Center (SWTC). Students in this program earn 31 credit hours through this agreement at SWTC of this 63 credit hour program which equates to 49%. The Aviation Mechanic program is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) through Southwest Technology Center.
