Music

This suggested curriculum includes Western's degree requirements and those generally completed during the first two years of a four-year music program. Students completing the Associate in Arts degree may transfer to any senior-level state institution and expect to find their lower division general education requirements satisfied.

Students should consult the four-year institution to which they are planning to transfer, and, while working with a faculty advisor, carefully select courses that meet requirements for the bachelor's degree program of that school. For example, most colleges require music majors to complete a major ensemble and applied music every semester.
