Western Oklahoma State College is celebrating its
10-year reaccreditation by hosting an Open House and Education Fair
on Thursday, April 10 from 3 to 6 p.m. Whether a prospective
student, a parent, or a community supporter, you are invited to
bring the whole family to Western’s front lawn for free hot dogs,
popcorn, and drinks, along with games such as the inflatable
football toss, a moon bounce, a rock wall, a petting zoo, and a
speed pitching booth.
Western’s Open House and Education Fair will be held in conjunction
with early enrollment for the summer and fall semesters. Faculty
will be on hand to answer questions and enroll students. Western’s
student organizations and athletic teams will have tables set up,
and the Western Ambassadors will be available to conduct tours.
Along with the family events and food, information will be provided
about financial aid, admissions, and other valuable college
programs.
Graduating students and alumni will have the opportunity to discuss
transfer opportunities with representatives from four year
universities. Community agencies will also be on hand with
interactive displays and information. Other community groups wishing
to participate in Western’s Open House and Education Fair may
contact Alice Newman at 580.477.7701 or email
alice.newman@wosc.edu.
