Ken Fergeson and NBC, with Oklahoma branches in Altus, Enid, Kingfisher, Oklahoma City and Tulsa, continue a history of support of the arts with the fifth commissioned painting in the Oklahoma Artist Series by Otto Duecker, III.

“Lone Chief Cheyenne” is from a series of Duecker paintings which feature photographs by turn of the century North American Indian photographer Edward Curtis.

“My painting is an attempt to present that image in a more accessible and permanent art form,” said Duecker.

Duecker’s work has been exhibited throughout the country and abroad and can be found in many major private collections. His work is currently being shown at the Price Tower Art Center, Bartlesville, as part of the Centennial exhibit, Out of Oklahoma. He is represented in the Philbrook Art Center as well as the Fred Jones Museum, University of Oklahoma collections. Otto is represented by Hammer Galleries, New York City; Plus One Gallery, London; Lewallan Gallery, Santa Fe; and M.A. Doran in Tulsa.
