Western Oklahoma State College is proud to offer two
new Animal Sciences courses for the upcoming semester. The courses,
Intermediate Horsemanship and Horse Management, are part of Nathan
Wells', Animal Science Instructor, continued efforts to broaden
agriculture course offerings for both students and non-students.
Intermediate Horsemanship is being offered as a continuing education
course and will meet Tuesday nights from 6 p.m. to 7:40 p.m.
Beginning August 26, this eight-week course will meet until October
14. Class cost will be $200 per person and enrollment is limited to
10. The group will meet in the Rodeo Arena and students are required
to provide their own horse. To register for this or to obtain more

Horse Management, offered as a two credit hour course, will meet
Thursday nights from 6 p.m. to 7:40 p.m. this fall semester.
Attendees may choose to audit the course if they are not a degree
seeking student. Although the course is non-exclusive, you must be
admitted to WOSC to qualify for enrollment. Online applications are

enrollment is August 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and August 15, from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those wishing to audit the course should inform
