Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Randy Smith
represented the Rural Community College Alliance at the Southern
Legislative Conference on Saturday, July 12, in Oklahoma City. Smith
addressed 55 state legislators from 16 Southern States. The
presentation, “Challenges and Opportunities Facing Rural Community
Colleges,” highlighted issues facing rural higher education (like
WOSC) as well as ways to solve these challenges.
