Trick or Treat with the Pioneers Debut on Halloween

Western Oklahoma State College celebrated Halloween in grand style with the first-ever "Trick-or-Treat with the Pioneers" on Thursday, October 31st. Organized by Western's Staff Senate, the event brought together elements of the college's beloved Meet the Pioneers and Boo Bash, creating an unforgettable evening of fun for the community.

More than 700 community members joined the festivities, enjoying carnival-style games hosted by students from various campus organizations. Guests of all ages also had the opportunity to meet members of the Pioneer athletic teams, who provided autographs, posed for photos, and shared their Pioneer spirit.

The event's success was fueled by the generosity of the Pioneer family, who donated candy and sweet treats and volunteered their time to ensure a memorable experience for everyone.

Pioneer athletes, representing local communities and countries around the world, embraced the opportunity to interact with fans of all ages. "It's a great way for us to give back and show our appreciation to the community that supports us," said one of the coaches.

With basketball season now in full swing, Western invites the community to continue showing their Pioneer pride by attending upcoming games and cheering on the teams.

Western Oklahoma State College looks forward to making "Trick-or-Treat with the Pioneers" an annual tradition, celebrating the spirit of the season while strengthening bonds with the local community.
