Pioneers Take 1st and 2nd Place Spot a the 2024 OSU Sporting Clay Shoot

The Western Oklahoma State College Shooting Team showcased its remarkable skill and dedication at the OSU Sporting Clay Shoot in Guthrie, OK, on the weekend of October 26th. The Pioneers delivered an outstanding performance, securing both the 1st and 2nd place team positions in a fiercely competitive field.

The 1st Place Team, consisting of Tanner Moles, Jaeden Saavedra, Baylee Pence, Alex Palmer, and Tagun Fittje, impressed with their precision, teamwork, and focus, earning the top honor.

Not far behind, the 2nd Place Team—made up of Rustin Fraser, Tanner Newton, Hunter Martinez, Dillon Lopez, and Mickial Hudgens—clinched their position with consistent accuracy and determination.

In addition to the team triumphs, individual accolades highlighted the event. Rustin Fraser captured the prestigious High Overall (HOA) title, showcasing his dominance and precision throughout the competition. Adding to the team’s success, Dillon Lopez secured a win in the exciting Doc Holiday Aide Game, bringing further pride to Western's program.

Western Oklahoma State College is proud of its Shooting Team's ongoing success and eagerly anticipates its continued achievements this season.
