Lively appointed to Western Oklahoma State College Board of Regents

Dustin Lively (Mangum, OK) appeared before the Senate Education Committee for appointment to the Western Oklahoma State College Board of Regents on May 20, 2025. He will succeed Susan Givens and will serve a seven–year term, ending March 24, 2032.

Dr. Dustin Lively is a proud native of Mangum, Oklahoma, and a passionate dentist who has been serving his community since 1997. A graduate of Western Oklahoma State College and Oklahoma State University, Dr. Lively went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He balances his professional life with his love for aviation, family time with his wife Tuni and their three daughters, and service to his community.

President Chad Wiginton commented, "Dr. Lively will be a fantastic addition to our board. He, his wife, and their three daughters all attended Western, demonstrating his deep commitment to the institution."       

Western Oklahoma State College is the oldest original municipal two-year college still in existence in the state of Oklahoma.
