Western Oklahoma State College Foundation Celebrates 20 Years of President’s Partner Program During Centennial Year

As Western Oklahoma State College proudly celebrates 100 years of service and impact, the WOSC Foundation, Inc. is also marking a significant milestone: 20 years of the President’s Partner Program.

Established in 2006, the President’s Partner Program was created to unite committed community leaders, businesses, alumni, and friends who believe in the mission of Western Oklahoma State College. Through their annual support, President’s Partners provide vital resources that enhance student success, strengthen academic programs, and support strategic initiatives across campus.

Over the past two decades, the program has become a cornerstone of philanthropic support for Western, helping fund scholarships and opportunities that directly impact students and the communities the College serves.

A defining highlight of the program is the extraordinary loyalty of its founding members. Ten President’s Partners have supported the program continuously since its inception in 2006, demonstrating a 20-year commitment to Western Oklahoma State College:

  • Bar-S Foods
  • Cattlemens Bank
  • Randy and Kyle Cumby
  • Larry and Sharon Duffy
  • Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma
  • Frazer Bank
  • Great Plains National Bank
  • Herring Bank
  • Equity Bank
  • Jeff and Kim Wilmes/Wilmes Chevrolet-GMC

“When we launched the President’s Partner Program in 2006, the goal was to create a meaningful way for community leaders and businesses to invest directly in Western’s students and future,” said Larry Duffy, founding President’s Partner and Executive Secretary of the WOSC Foundation, Inc. “Seeing the program still thriving 20 years later, especially during Western’s Centennial year, speaks volumes about the commitment of our partners and the lasting impact their support has made.”

Today, the President’s Partner Program includes 75 active President’s Partners, and in honor of Western’s Centennial, the WOSC Foundation has set an ambitious goal to grow the program to 100 President’s Partners by the end of Western’s 100th year.

In celebration of both Western’s Centennial and the 20th anniversary of the President’s Partner Program, the WOSC Foundation will spotlight each of the 10 founding President’s Partners on social media over the next four weeks, sharing their stories and the impact of their continued generosity.

As Western Oklahoma State College enters its second century, the President’s Partner Program remains essential to advancing the College’s mission and ensuring a strong future for students and the region.

Community members and businesses are invited to join this momentum by becoming a President’s Partner and helping the WOSC Foundation reach its goal of 100 President’s Partners by the end of Western Oklahoma State College’s 100th year.

The WOSC Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 organization that exists to generate support for the students and programs of Western Oklahoma State College.
