Randy Squires (Hobart, OK) appeared before the Senate Education Committee for appointment to the Western Oklahoma State College Board of Regents on April 29, 2026. He will succeed Dr. Dana Darby and will serve a seven–year term, ending March 24, 2033.

Born and raised in Hobart, Oklahoma, Squires is a respected leader in the agricultural industry and a dedicated supporter of education and community service. He earned his bachelor’s degree in agricultural education from Oklahoma State University in 1998 and has built a distinguished career with Plains Cotton Cooperative Association (PCCA).

A seasoned professional with decades of experience at PCCA and throughout cotton country, Squires has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and operational success throughout his career. He began his career with PCCA in 2000 as a Field Services Representative serving Oklahoma, Kansas, and the Red River areas and steadily advanced through multiple leadership positions within the organization. In 2025, he was promoted to Vice President of Warehouse Operations for PCCA.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Squires is deeply committed to serving his community. He currently serves as a board member for both Hobart Public Schools and the Kiowa County Conservation District.

Squires and his wife, Summer, are proud parents of three children: Sutton, a recent graduate of Western Oklahoma State College; Hudson, a junior at Oklahoma State University; and Matilyn, a senior at Hobart High School.

President Chad Wiginton commented, “Randy Squires will make a great addition to our board.  His connection with the Kiowa County communities and his direct involvement with agriculture-related industries will be a tremendous asset for Western.”
