This suggested curriculum includes Western=s degree requirements and those generally completed during the first two years of a four-year English program. Students completing the Associate of Arts degree may transfer to any senior level state institution and expect to find their lower division, general education requirements satisfied. Students should consult the four-year institution to which they are planning to transfer, and while working with a faculty advisor, carefully select courses that meet requirements for the bachelor's degree program of that school. For example, some universities require only three hours of conversational foreign language while others require two to four semesters of foreign language.
