STAR

STAR Conceptual Framework

The conceptual framework for Western’s Early Childhood and Child Development program continues to use the six-sided STAR as a symbol to represent the program’s core values. Each point on the STAR symbolizes each of the standards, but the driving force is always each and every child. What students need to know and be able to do in the workforce is achieved through transformational course work and implementation with the children in the field.
