As part of its Centennial Celebration, Western Oklahoma State College is taking a look back at one of the most spirited elements of campus life: the evolution of its mascots. From Pirates to Owls to today’s beloved Pioneers, each chapter reflects not only the college’s identity but also the voice of its students and community.

Sponsors of Western Oklahoma State College's World Wide Western student organization had the privilege of accompanying three international students to the Oklahoma State Capitol on February 25 for International Student Recognition Day. 

For 100 years, Western has been guided by strong, dedicated leadership, from shared high school classrooms to a thriving state college.
