Coach Tierney Finished 3rd in Nation

Each year the top 15 steer ropers in the nation compete at the National Finals Steer Roping. Western’s rodeo coach Jess Tierney entered the 2021 finals in the #6 spot.

He placed in 7 of the 10 rounds and tied down 9 of his 10 steers to secure the third spot in the average. An outstanding performance at the NFSR led to an overall 3rd place finish. Congratulations Coach Tierney. Your Pioneer family is proud of you!
