World Wide Western visit the State Capitol for International Student Recognition Day
Sponsors of Western's World Wide Western student organization had the pleasure of taking four of our international students to the International Student Recognition Day at the Oklahoma State Capitol on February 28. These students were among 70 other students from schools across the state who came together at the Capitol to meet our representatives, take a tour, and talk to other students about their experiences of becoming international students. Students also got the chance to visit with Dr. Chad Wigiton, Western's president, over lunch.

Thank you to Representative Gerrid Kendrix for taking the time to visit with our students and recognize them in the House Gallery among other state representatives.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this day possible and contributed to an unforgettable experience for our international students. Here's to fostering more opportunities for cultural exchange and learning!
