The Western Shooting team has once again emerged triumphant at the ACUI CAA National Championship, proudly bringing home the championship trophy for the second consecutive year. 

 The Western Shooting team, led by Coach Pence, delivered an outstanding performance across multiple disciplines, locking their status as champions. In the trap event, Rustin Fraser, Thomas Reimer, Baylee Pence, Shay Skaggs, and Dillon Lopez dominated the competition, securing the title of Champion Trap Team with an impressive score of 491 out of 500.

 Continuing their winning streak, the team triumphed in the Sporting Clays event, with Brady Reimer, Byron Ford, Baylee Pence, Shay Skaggs, and Hunter Martinez demonstrating exceptional proficiency to claim the title of Champion Sporting Clays Team with a score of 432 out of 500.

In the Skeet Doubles event, the Western Shooting team once again showcased their talent, with Kya Funkhowser, Dillon Lopez, Rustin Fraser, Baylee Pence, and Hunter Martinez clinching second place with a score of 465 out of 500.

 Individually, Baylee Pence emerged as a standout performer, earning the title of CAA Champion Female for her exceptional performance across multiple events, including trap, sporting clays, and skeet doubles.

The Western Shooting team's success at the ACUI CAA National Championship was a testament to their skill, passion, and dedication to the sport of shooting. As they returned home, they carried the championship trophy with them and a proud Pioneer family.

Thomas Reimer: 3rd place-class C (after 3 way shoot off for 1st) 99/100-PR

Rustin Fraser was tied for 2nd with 17 other shooters in Class A shooting 99/100, ending as tied for 15th

Baylee Pence: 3rd-class A (after 2 way shoot off for 3rd) 98/100

 Sporting Clays | Women's

Baylee Pence: 3rd-Class C (after 2 way shoot off for 2nd) 90/100

 Skeet Doubles | Women's
