On behalf of the Western Oklahoma State College Department of Safety and Security employees,  welcome to our campus. It is our desire to be an integral part of the Western campus. Whether you are a student, faculty, staff or guest to Western, we strive to make your time on campus a safe and pleasant experience.

Our mission is to provide safety, security and fair and impartial treatment of all. We know that we cannot meet our mission without the cooperation of the citizens of this campus. We are all responsible to ensure that our valuables are secure and that crime and suspicious incidents are reported in a timely manner. It is imperative that we work together to identify and resolve problems that lead to crime or the fear of crime.

Western Oklahoma State College has worked closely with the City of Altus Police Department to provide police services on campus. All reports of crime or suspected criminal activity should be reported to the WOSC Department of Safety and Security.
