Why the PIONEER FUND?
The Pioneer Fund is dedicated to ensuring that the students of Western Oklahoma State College have every opportunity to receive the education of their dreams. By contributing to the Pioneer Fund, you are helping to break down barriers in higher education and ensuring that finances do not hinder students from pursuing their educational goals.
It is important that students have the necessary resources and support systems to succeed academically and personally. Therefore, contributions made to the Pioneer Fund are used to provide the following:
- Scholarships
- Funds applied to tuition, fees and books for traditional, non-traditional and concurrent students
- Academic Program Support
- Enhance curriculum, offer specialized resources, facilitate hands-on experiences, support faculty development
- Campus Outreach
- Community partnerships, events and programs
- Recruitment of Students and Faculty
- Scholarships, marketing, faculty development, innovative programs and facilities
- Endowment Support
- Ensuring endowment funds will benefit students for generations to come
