Advice to HS students wanting to attend college:
Earning your degree doesn’t take as long as you think it might think, it genuinely goes by in the blink of an eye. So my advice is to enjoy it the best you can and really dedicate yourself to learning.
Why did you choose the agriculture field to study?
I chose the agricultural field to study because I would love to work in natural resource management and I knew that the WOSC agriculture program would be a great start to accomplishing that goal.

Why did you choose the agriculture field to study?
I’ve always liked being outside, and an AG degree will keep me outside where I like being.

Why did you choose the agriculture field to study?
I have grown up with an agricultural background. I want to be able to continue in that field and gain more knowledge behind all of it.

I chose the agriculture field because it combines my passion for livestock science and nature with the opportunity to make an impact on the industry.

Work hard and be persistent. You can truly achieve anything you set your mind to. Be passionate about what you choose to do in college and give it your all.

Why did you choose the agriculture field to study?
I chose the agricultural field because I’m truly passionate about all things agriculture. I grew up in the industry and want to continue that way of life. When I graduate I want to be a horse breeder and an agriculture instructor.

Why did you choose the agriculture field to study?
I grew up around the agriculture industry and the horse world. I always knew I wanted to be involved with agriculture and well respected like my papa is and known for my horsemanship and love for horses like my granny was.

I chose Ag because it is what I see inspiration in since I was young. The ag community helps with so much more than people see it as. I wanna be apart of a great community.

Take the first step with confidence and choose a place that will set you up for success. Western is a smart start- it offers supportive professors, smaller class sizes, and welcoming environment that helps students adjust to college life.

Why did you choose the agriculture field to study?
I chose to study agriculture because it combines my passion for animal science and leadership, growing up involved in the FFA and livestock showing. I developed a strong work ethic and love for caring for animals. Agriculture is more than just a career path. It’s a lifestyle that teaches responsibility, problem-solving, and the importance of feeding and serving others by studying agriculture. I’m preparing myself for a future where I can continue making a difference, especially as I pursue my goal of becoming a veterinarian.
