What is a Western Ambassador?

The Western Oklahoma State College student Ambassador program was established in 2001. They are under the official sponsorship of the president of the college. Their mission is to promote the college through a variety of speaking engagements and special events. Favorite Memory of Western:

I don’t have one favorite memory. Any time with the ambassador team is special, from Welcome Week and our retreat to just hanging out in Pioneer Central.

Favorite Memory of Western:

My favorite memory was during softball when we won our 20th game in a row. It was the longest winning streak in Western Softball history!

Every memory with the ambassadors is a fun one, whether we’re working together, laughing between events, or making new connections. I’m always grateful for the friendships and experiences we share.

My favorite memory of Western is Casino Night when we play for real prizes, and FREE popcorn on Thursdays!!!

My advice to an upcoming freshman is to step out of your comfort zone, get involved with different organizations. College is truly what you make it, and make Western your smart start, you won’t regret it

My favorite memory as an ambassador here at Western has to be our spontaneous ideas. Whether that’s late-night trips to the Point or simply going out for ice cream after a meeting/event, we all keep each other on our toes, making each day different from the last!
