Nursing Accreditation & Licensure

 

Western Oklahoma State College Associate Degree in Nursing program is approved as an associate degree in nursing program in Oklahoma for the following campus sites:

  • WOSC Altus campus, traditional program:  Full approval.
  • WOSC Elk City campus, traditional program:  Full approval.
  • WOSC Lawton campus, traditional program:  Approval with conditional status from December 1, 2023 through November 30, 2024.  
  • WOSC LPN-to-RN online track:  Full approval. 

 

NLN CNEA

 

Accredited by National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation.  

Note:  As of February 16, 2023, the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) has changed the accreditation status for all campuses of the Western Oklahoma State College Associate Degree in Nursing program to probationary status for a period of one year effective from February 16, 2023 to February 16, 2024.  

As of June 21, 2023, the NLN CNEA added quality improvement conditions to the existing probationary status.  Please click here to review the WOSC Nursing Program letter regarding these conditions.
